Wellness, relaxation and fun - for three generations over three floors.
In spring 2008 the Steigenberger Hotel Gstaad-Saanen renovated its complete Wellness area and extended it to three floors, now covering 1,100 sqm.

On the top level you can find a foyer and the reception to the Spa World luxury with a fireplae and comfortable seats. The new Finnish-Panoramic sauna presents itself with an unique view over the mountains. Brand new as well: The Aroma-Bio-Sauna with low temperature. Beneficial for the entire respiratory tract and perfect for tender and clean skin the Herbal Sauna. To cool down an ice spring, torrent and sensation showers as well as a Kneipp basin await you. Relaxation is guaranteed on our gallery - acoustically but not optically separated by a glass wall from the indoor pool. The solarium is equipped with new devices and was moved to a bigger place.

On the garden level you can find the lavish indoor pool with many loungers, an area which in summer extends to the terrace with all-weather furnishing. One now walks on wooden floors and enjoys the bright ambiance and the unique view over the Rüblihorn mountain. More loungers and heated setees as well as the direct acces to the sun terrace and the adjoining lounge invite to relax and enjoy the beautiful Alpine scenery.

On the level below the pool one can find the newly established Kids Wellness area. Here the kids can discover their own wellness world. The can meet in the mountain cottage and play Nintendo games on the video wall. In the tree sauna with low temperature they can relax and afterward refresh in the grotto with waterfall and sensation showers for all senses. Venturous kids crest the climbing wall and fathom the cave under the ceiling.
